SDBIP Report: 1st Quarter Ending 30 September 2023
MFMA: SECTION 52 (D) – SERVICE DELIVERY AND BUDGET IMPLEMENTATION PLAN (SDBIP) – FIRST QUARTER
This report set out performance against the Integrated Development Plan (IDP) 2023/2024 and revised Service Delivery and Budget Implementation Plan (SDBIP) for the 1st Quarter period of 2023/2024 financial year, i.e. 01 July 2023 to 30 September 2023. Performance is accounted based on the delivery of projects and/or services in the IDP and SDBIP for which the Mangaung Council is responsible for implementing. The quarterly projections of service delivery targets and performance indicators have considered all the Metro’s strategic development objectives both on the projects and programmes and resources allocation level. Therefore, there is a clear link between the strategic objectives, responsible departments as well as allocation both in the IDP and the SDBIP. The SDBIP for 2023/2024 has identified 282 projects/programmes that will be implemented by the city. Furthermore, the city will be reporting on 83 of Circular 88 as legislated by National Treasury.
