Notice: Water Shutdown for Maintenance Purposes

Notice is hereby given that; there will be an interruption of water supply within the municipal area of Bloemfontein Due to the replacement of defective valves on a 600 diameter pipeline.

The areas which will be affected are as follows:

• Westdene
• Oranjesig
• Wilgehof
• Batho
• Heidedal 
• National Hospital
• Pelonomi Hospital

Residents, businesses, factories, schools, clinics and all consumers are notified that the water supply to the areas mentioned above will be affected on 12 January 2016 at 14h00 PM till 12h00 AM on 13th January 2016.

Water Tankers will be provided as and where required.  All consumers are kindly requested to make the necessary arrangements for gathering water for cooking, washing, cleaning, etc for that period.

The Directorate Engineering Services – Water and Sanitation division apologizes for the inconvenience that the cutting of water supply will cause. We ensure all consumers of our best intentions at all times.
