Public Notice: Update on Water Supply in Southern Parts of Bloemfontein
PUBLIC NOTICE: UPDATE ON WATER SUPPLY IN SOUTHERN PARTS OF BLOEMFONTEIN
Residents of Mangaung Metro are hereby notified on the progress made in addressing recent water supply interruptions in the southern parts of Bloemfontein. The City wishes to inform affected residents in the Southern parts of City that the Brandkop Reservoir in Pellessier has reached improved water levels. Our focus is now directed toward stabilizing the water levels at the Longridge Reservoir to ensure a reliable supply to all affected areas.
To manage the situation and support communities during this period:
- Water Conservation: We urge residents to use water sparingly as we work towards restoring reservoir capacities to normal levels.
- Support Measures: Water tankers are being dispatched to affected areas to provide temporary relief. Please make use of these services where necessary.
The City together with Vaal Central Water are working diligently to bring the water supply system back to full functionality. We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we navigate these challenges together.
